A path descends to the right of the "Tête du chien". In about thirty minutes, through the multiform rocks, a winding path will lead you to a rocky platform, from where you can see the "Château-fort", a stone fortress overlooking the gulf.

It is at the bend in the road on the D81 at the exit of Calanche on the left and in a big curve that we see this huge rock in the shape of a dog's head, from there a path leads to the castle. No, you won't see a "real" castle, only a big rock in the shape of one. You will have a great view of the Gulf of Porto, the Calanche, and in the distance the village of Piana. A very pleasant walk through this small forest and also through a maze of magnificent reddish rocks. Beautiful photos in perspective...
