girolata "le chemin du facteur" (the letter carrier's path)

Discover this emblematic trail linking land and sea to a fishing village, accessible on foot or by boat. Starting from the Col de la Croix (20km after Porto in the direction of Calvi), you first descend to a small Tuara beach, where you can make a short stop for a swim. After this beach, the trail makes a loop, allowing you to enjoy the sea spray on the way out and a view of the volcanic rock on the way back. Bring a cap or hat and plenty of water, as this trail is very sunny. It's a 3h30 trail with a 550m vertical drop. For markings, follow the yellow on the sea side, and the orange on the mountain side.
