15 minutes from Sagone, a few kilometres before the village of Coggia, Julie makes utilitarian and decorative pottery in a sober and contemporary style. All stages of manufacturing are carried out on site and each piece is unique.
Julie mainly works with white earthenware, which she decorates with engobes made by herself. After the first firing, the pieces are covered with a transparent cover that makes them food-safe. Each piece is dishwasher and microwave safe.
"I make tableware almost exclusively because I like the idea that my pottery becomes an everyday object."
Julie also offers discovery courses, from a few hours to several sessions depending on the formula chosen, you will be able to discover the fascinating world of ceramics.
It is possible to visit the workshop (preferably by appointment), to talk with Julie about her profession and her know-how and to acquire one or more pieces.
On site, you can also visit the workshop of his companion, Bertrand Filhol, a cutler and blacksmith.
