Come and meet a couple who are passionate about their craft in Piana: he is a knifemaker, she is a potter.
Kevin has been a knifemaker for over 20 years now! He makes traditional shepherd's knives, mainly with Corsican goat horn handles and forged carbon steel blades, damascened or not.
Manette has been a potter since 2020. Self-taught, she makes everyday objects, mainly for the table, but also decorative objects. She works mainly in stoneware and makes her own glazes, sometimes using plant ashes and other rocks or earth collected around her home.
She loves to share her passion, and offers introductory pottery courses. You need to allow 2 consecutive mornings to complete your piece. She takes care of firing and glazing. You can pick up your work at the workshop, or she can ship it to you. Don't hesitate to contact her to reserve your place and get all the information you need.

Passionate about nature and artistic activities, Emmanuelle Taberlet is a jack-of-all-trades who experiments with many things in the artistic world: painting, drawing, watercolour, modelling, creative hobbies, jewellery making... but always in an amateur and leisure context.

She went on to study agriculture and obtained a diploma in viticulture and oenology after her baccalaureate.

It was wine growing that brought her to Corsica, but she soon set up her own business in market gardening in Balagne for five years.

All these years, no more time for artistic hobbies.

So, when she stopped her market gardening activity, she met Antoine Campana who welcomed her a few times in his workshop to show her the basics of filming.

She discovered a real passion there.

She draws her inspiration from the world's gastronomy in terms of utensils, but also from the garden.
