Porto's powder magazine, dating from the 16th century, was once a military building, a Genoese store, an auditorium and an aquarium.
Today it houses the Porto tourist office on one side and an exhibition hall on the other. You can admire the work of Mr Tomasi, one of Corsica's leading photographers, whose photos date back to the early 20th century and retrace the evolution of Porto and Girolata.
Other artists also exhibit in this peaceful, meditative setting.
