In 1980, Marie-Françoise Bartoli set up her workshop "A CIRRIOLA" in Sagone, a small and quiet seaside resort, which was once one of the most important cities in Corsica.
Installed since 1980 in her native village, Marie Françoise Bartoli makes pieces of utilitarian and decorative pottery in flamboyant red, turquoise blue and other bright colours that blend with astonishingly pure forms, but also pieces of wood that are a little tortured and swirling sculptures
The potter perpetuates the humble knowledge of the first ages, which was reproduced at the beginning of each civilisation.
